NEW BUSINESS

Guest Speakers:  Shireen has talked with George Siciliano whose specialty is paper piecing and miniatures.  He and his wife are available to come to our guild in April.  Date set for April 20th for lecture and April 21st for workshop; the workshop is for all skill levels.  Costs are:  lecture, $350.00; workshop, $450.00; mileage estimated around $200.  Workshop kits will be for sale at $10.00 or $38.00 with fabric included.  We would need to fill class to remain affordable.  It was noted that the funds from the raffle quilt were earmarked for "speakers."  For May, Shireen has contacted a vendor of Indonesian batik fabric for the May 16th meeting.  Lecture fee is $200.00 which includes travel as well.  Bonnie made a motion to invite both speakers; Carol Guyette seconded.  Motion passed.  As a note the April guild meeting has been moved to April 20th.
